When posting a job, recruiters set how many candidate profiles they want (between 20 and 100). They pay upfront for that number. Once payment is made, all matched profiles up to that limit are fully visible immediately — contact details, work history, and direct CV downloads — with no extra unlock fees. You are only ever billed for candidates that are actually delivered.
Every candidate is scored out of 100% for each job. The score has two main parts:
- Technical Fit (65%): How well the candidate's skills, keywords, years of experience, and certifications match what the job requires.
- Role Fit (35%): Whether the candidate is actively available, located in the right place, and has the right educational background.
Only candidates scoring 40% or above appear in the recruiter's feed. The system also flags candidates who are overqualified (significantly more experience than the role needs), so recruiters can make an informed decision.
No — CVDB's matching is completely case-insensitive. Whether a candidate writes "Python", "PYTHON", or "python" on their profile, and a recruiter types "python" in their job requirements, it's treated as a perfect match every time. The same applies to locations like "Dubai" and "dubai".

This means recruiters never miss a great candidate just because they used a slightly different term for the same technology — and candidates are never unfairly excluded.

Unverified accounts can view a candidate's ranked profile summary and skills — but not their private contact information. This protects candidates from fake recruiters while keeping the experience seamless for legitimate employers.
